Zoom Discussions

You'll have the opportunity to meet with current and graduated students through Zoom Discussions!

You can find the link for your Zoom Discussion on your SPOP Canvas under the “Zoom Discussions & Community Building” module at the top of your home page. Open the Assignment for your Group Discussion Details for the link to your Zoom call and schedule for the entire summer. You’ll use this link for every discussion.

You will only be able to join Zoom discussions when you are logged in to your UCI Zoom account.

How to Login to Zoom

Follow the instructions below to login to your UCI Zoom account.

To download the Zoom Desktop App, visit https://zoom.us/download  

Login via Web Browser

1. Go to https://uci.zoom.us/ 

2. Click “Sign In"

3. Log in with your UCInetID

4. Click “Join a Meeting” in the top right corner of the page

5. Enter the Meeting ID (the 10-digit number at the end of the zoom link)

Login via Zoom Desktop App

1. Open the Zoom Desktop App

2. Click “Sign In with SSO”

3. Enter “uci” in the text box and click "Continue". You will be redirected to a browser window

4. Log in with your UCInetID

5. Click “Open zoom.us.app” on the dialog box. You will be redirected to the Zoom App

6. Click "Join"

7. Enter the Meeting ID (the 10-digit number at the end of the zoom link)

Login via Zoom Mobile App

1. Open the Zoom Mobile App. Click “Sign In”

2. Click “SSO”

3. Enter “uci” in the text box and click "Go". You will be redirected to a browser window

4. Log in with your UCInetID

5. Click “Open” in the dialog box. You will be redirected to the Zoom App

6. Click “Join”

7. Enter the Meeting ID (the 10-digit number at the end of the zoom link)
