Casual clothes, including comfortable walking shoes
Variable clothing for hot weather and air-conditioned rooms
A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated (there are hydration stations located in every residence hall and in the student center)
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and/or a hat
Any necessary medications
For Overnight Programs
Shower shoes/slippers (bathrooms are communal and will be shared with up to 7 other participants)
A change of clothes for day 2
A laptop for completing course registration (if you do not have access to one, we will provide an alternative method during your program)
Linens will be provided for all overnight participants! This includes a towel, a set of sheets, a blanket, and a pillow case. These will be in your dorm room when you arrive at orientation.
This year, we are asking that all SPOP participants bring a laptop, if they are willing and able, to orientation. Computer lab space for course enrollment is extremely limited. Please bring a laptop if you can so those who need to use the computer lab space to sign up for courses are able to do so. If you are unable to bring a laptop, you will still be able to sign up for classes at your SPOP.
