International Student Orientation

2017 International Student Orientation (ISO) Schedule

The International Student Orientation (ISO) is designed specifically for new international freshmen who have not lived in the U.S. for a significant amount of time.

International freshmen who did not attend high school in the U.S. are required to attend ISO.

International freshmen who did attend high school in the U.S. are encouraged to attend SPOP, but can attend ISO if they are not available for SPOP.

International Freshmen

September 19 - Day 1 (of 3)

8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

ISO Program Check-In & Housing Check-In**

Check-in locations will be based on your Fall Academic Year Housing assignment (Mesa Court, Middle Earth, Arroyo Vista, Campus Village).

Students living off-campus for the Fall quarter will check-in at Mesa Court.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Lunch

*ISO Participants will be automatically registered for the Academic English Placement Exam at this date and time*

**The housing communities will close at 5 PM and it will not be possible to check into ISO between 5 PM on Sept. 19th to 8 AM on Sept. 20th. Students who will be living on-campus during the academic year will stay in their academic year room at ISO. This includes students living in Mesa Court, Middle Earth, Campus Village, and Arroyo Vista. More information can be found in our FAQ.
Please Note:
If you are living off-campus for the academic year, your check-in location will be at Mesa Court. You will be responsible for arranging your own transportation after ISO ends.
